Steel production, iron ore
I am the Sales Representative of a company established for 3 years and working in the central and northern Mexican area, although we are open to advise you if you want to do business in any part of the country.

1. What Mexico offers?
Mexico can be attractive in the steel production business. Mexico ranked 14th as a world producer of liquid steel during 2018, generating more than 672 thousand jobs directly and indirectly.
In that same year, a total of 20.20 million tons of liquid steel were produced and a Per Capita consumption of liquid steel of 227 kilograms per year.

On the other hand, Mexico is in the top 10 of steel product importing countries; and it is the 4th importer of stainless steel worldwide, buying 290 million dollars abroad.
The area we suggest investing in is northern Mexico, as it is the most competitive region, it borders the United States and it is the one that benefits the most from nearshoring, due to clusters of various types. Tesla announced last year a giga factory in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon to produce electric cars.
We are only going to mention 2 strategic locations; but it is important not to leave aside states such as Coahuila, Sonora and Tamaulipas.

3.- Iron Ore
One of our clients belongs to the Mining Industry, and through the last months we have developed a win-win relationship in many ways.
We have been invited in a joint venture to be able to commercialize iron and copper. The iron ore has a purity of 62% and we have enclosed our presentation and some SGS and CCIC analysis, so that you can corroborate the composition of the iron. We are in a position to export more than 300,000 thousand tons per month of iron ore.
We are looking for direct consumers, although we are willing to analyze the possibility of dealing with a trader who has knowledge in the Arab-Asian market.
