Sunflower seeds

Our company, founded in 1995, is owned 80% by a Cooperative' (established in 1965, 2670 members from Çandır city, 1600 members are farmers, and most of others have been working in European countries) and 20% by third persons who also are members of cooperative.

We have a sunflower seed oil factory which was constructed in 1978, stopped operation in 2000. Factory has a land of 118.600 sqm and closed area of 15.000 sqm where old production lines still exist. We want to facilitate the renewal of old equipment, the purchase of new lines, and to finance the purchase of raw sunflower seeds for starting process yearly 45 thousand tons of sunflower seeds and 18 thousand tons edible oil production, and bioenergy plant.

For this aim we are inviting international offers for cooperation to establish a JV, or to invest in company shares, or to contract for renting our facilities. It is assumed that the demand for sunflower oil only in Turkey is great enough to absorb more than 18 thousand tons oil if produced inside Turkey from original Turkish sunflower seeds.
